La Red de la Biblioteca Virtual Historia y Patrimonio Cultural de la Salud: un espacio para la construcción colectiva del conocimiento

Resumen
Este artículo tiene como propósito presentar la experiencia de creación y desarrollo de la “Biblioteca Virtual en Salud Historia y Patrimonio Cultural de la Salud” (BVS HPCS), red social en información científica y tecnológica en salud, formada por la cooperación técnica entre instituciones e individuos de América Latina y el Caribe. Inicialmente destaca el modelo de la “Biblioteca Virtual en Salud (BVS)” desarrollado por el Centro Latino-Americano y del Caribe de Información en Ciencias de la Salud – BIREME/OPAS/OMS, compuesto por tres dimensiones distintas: la Red Social, la Red de Contenidos y los Ambientes Aprendices. En un contexto más general, refleja sobre la dinámica del trabajo en red. Sobre la BVS HPCS, relata el perfil de sus miembros y el concepto de sus fuentes de información y, finalmente, el espacio de su Comunidad Virtual.

Abstract
The Virtual Health Library - History and Cultural Heritage of Health: a place for the collective construction of knowledge
This article aims to present the experience of the creation and development of the “The Virtual Health Library - History and Cultural Heritage of Health” (VHL HCHS), a social network on scientific and technological information in health, formed by technical cooperation among institutions and individuals from Latin America and Caribe. Initially it presents the model "Virtual Health Library (VHL)" developed by the Center of Latin American and Caribbean Information in Health Sciences - BIREME/PAHO/WHO, composed by three distinct dimensions: Social Networking, Information Network and Learning Environments. In a wider context, reflects the dynamics of networking. Concerning the BVS HPCs, describes the profile of its members and the concept of the sources of information and, finally, the space of its Virtual Community.
