Historia Medicinae is a newly-founded student-run peer-reviewed online journal dedicated to promoting the study of the history of medicine.  The journal welcomes students of all fields (e.g., history, medicine, the health professions) to submit their work for online publication.   Our mission is to publish articles which cover a unique topic in the history of medicine from an innovative and informed perspective.  The journal covers all periods of medical history from classical and ancient medicine to historical developments in modern medicine.  It consists of short letters written on important individuals, inventions, and developments in medicine as well as longer, analyses related to the history of medicine.
